An Important Secret (English Story)-İngilizce Hikaye
Sarah is 8 years old. She lives in a big house. She has a huge room. She has many toys and she has a lot of friends. But Sarah is not happy. She has a secret.
She doesn’t want to tell anyone about her secret. She feels embarrassed. The problem is that if nobody knows about it, there is no one that can help her.
Sarah can’t write her homework. When there is an exam, she gets sick. She doesn’t tell anyone, but the truth is she can’t read and write. Sarah doesn’t remember the letters of the alphabet.
One day, Sarah’s teacher finds out. She sees that Sarah can’t write on the board. She calls her after class and asks her to tell the truth. Sarah says, “It is true. I don’t know how to read and write”.
The teacher listens to her. She wants to help Sarah. She tells her, “That’s ok. You can read and write if we practice together”. So Sarah and her teacher meet every day after class. They practice together. Sarah works hard. Now she knows how to read and write!

Sarah 8 yaşında. Büyük bir evde yaşıyor. Çok büyük bir odası var. Onun bir çok oyuncağı ve arkadaşı var. Fakat Sarah mutlu değil. Onun bir sırrı var.
Hiç kimseye sırrını söylemek istemiyor. Bundan utanıyor. Fakat sorun şu ki, eğer bunu kimse bilmezse, ona yardım edecek kimse de yok demektir.
Sarah ödevini yazamıyor. Bir sınav olduğu zaman, hasta oluyor. Hiç kimseye söylemiyor fakat işin gerçeği, o hem okuyamıyor, hem de yazamıyor. Sarah alfabedeki harfleri hatırlamıyor.
Bir gün, Sarah’nın öğretmeni bunu anlıyor. Görüyor ki Sarah tahtaya yazamıyor. Onu dersten sonra çağırıyor ve gerçeği söylemesini istiyor. Sarah, “Bu doğru. Ben nasıl okunacağını ve yazılacağını bilmiyorum”. Öğretmen onu dinliyor. Sarah’ya yardım etmek istiyor. Ona diyor ki, “Sorun değil. Eğer beraber pratik yaparsak okuyabilir ve yazabilirsin”.
Sonuç olarak Sarah ve öğretmeni her gün dersten sonra bir araya geliyor. Beraber pratik yapıyorlar. Sarah sıkı çalışıyor. Ve şimdi o okuyabiliyor ve yazabiliyor!
